Commercial Description:
This strong German-style lager is the antithesis to the current low carbohydrate craze. Known as liquid bread, this deep amber lager has chewy malt flavors through and through. Its high alcohol content is a stealthy player in this silky smooth big brew.

tap at brewpub-albuquerque location. Very sweet aroma full of malts. dark, ruby appearance. mild carbonation true to the style. very sharp malts/alcohol. Salvator-esque. solid offering ReRate-bottle hand bottled from Ted Rice, the head brewer. Im just going to add some notes to my origonal rating because it was pretty good. This is a very good bock IMO. I like the earthy hop notes, especially from this bottled version. Again, Thanks Ted for hooking me up with a bomber!

Reddish-brown body. Very malty with a prominent note of blueberries and a hint of chocolate and rum. Medium malty sweetness. Has a big, rich mouthfeel but is also very smooth. The alcohol bite is very apparent. Very unique and enjoyable as a long slow sipper.

Bottle-conditioned sample. Prominent grapey notes. Munich malts seem evident. Grapes and bread crusts abound in this beer.
