COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after the girl with the golden glow, this English-style Summer Ale goes down easy. A gentle carbonation level lets the classic English ingredients shine. A perfect quencher for a game of baseball, or maybe a cricket match.

tap at brewpub-pours pale yellow with a small white head. sweet, spicy hop aroma with some earthy engiish hop notes. I detect german hop presence here, but its apparently not in this brew. medium body, good for this style. There are lots of hops in this brew, creating a very earthy presence. I do taste fresh grain along with the hops and becomes stronger as the brew warms. This tastes like a pilsener mixed with a golden ale. I hope Ted wins an award at the GABF with this one!

UPDATED: JUL 19, 2004 Pale-straw color and very mild carbonation. Subtle, enticing aroma of pale malts, a hint of buttery nuts, and nice delicate English hops. Flavor is almost cologne-like, not a musky yeast thing, but more from the spicy pungency of prominent woody, herbal hops combined with lightly toasted sweet malts. Finish has some citrus acidity which does become a little cloying like lemon tea, but the beer is practically gone by that point. Soft, pleasing body. This is a good summer beer, that unlike so many castrated beers of this or similar styles, still carries some cojones.
