Typical color for the style. Light flavor that’s again typical. Mostly malt flavored. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap @ Blue Corn Santa Fe Southside. Pours a clear, dark orange appearance with an off white head. Toasty caramel malty, bready, slight grassy aroma. A bit thick, chewy caramel malty, herbal, hay flavor. Not bad.

Draft @ brewpub. Is clear amber. Very buttery caramel aroma. Toasted sweet caramel flavors. A bit of hop in the finish. Oh boy.

Slightly hazy. Light amber. Mostly mushroomy/toasty aroma. Mushroomy character, overly toasty palate and mild bitterness. Boring stuff.

Slight hazed amber pour with frothy off white head and lace. Caramel aroma. Sour caramel malt with a mild bitter. Medium bodied and foamy with just an off flavor by a tick.

UPDATED: MAY 28, 2010 The Blue Corn in Santa Fe has a nice selection of beers and ales. This ale was a wonderful amber color with a smalliish head and lacing. Some bitterness was noticed and the finish was smooth. This was a nice ale to have with lunch.

Tap from brewery. Well balanced beer. Slightly pungent balance of hops and malts. Flavor is all very balanced but slightly towards the bittetness. Finishes very clean.

Pretty boring, even for an amber ale - some notes of toasted grains and light sweetness - the faintest tang of hops - has that metallic character I noticed in their lager as well, but this beer had even less going on, so it was a lot more prominent - meh.
