Draught at Downtown location. Pours clear dark brown with a small, fizzy, off-white head, mostly diminishing with spare lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (cookie, caramel, toffee), average hops (perfume, herbs), average yeast (horse blanket, leather, earth) with notes of dates, pear, and cinnamon. Full bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.
