Blue Corn Sleeping Dog Stout. Labeled as an Oatmeal Stout. Sampler at the brewery. Pours a thin beige head, over a clear dark brown (SRM 30) body.....nose rich in coffee chocolate, light hop....taste initially very light. bit of chocolate, bit of coffee....mouth feel is light, carbonation high. This has many characteristics of a Stout, but minimal Oatmeal characteristics, and is very light overall. Tasting of 10/09/09.
