A dark, copper brown colourd beer with a thickish white head. A seetish malty nose, bready, with a hint of bananas and tropical fruit. The taste is bitter sweet, a drying biscuity malt, then the tropical fruit element comes through. The finish is quite dry. (Cask - The Fox & Hounds, Heacham, Norfolk. Acquired from the Blue Cow as a swap, courtesy of Bruce!)

Deep amber colour. Served through a tight sparkler, so aroma was muted, mainly malty. The flavour is soft and fairly malty, but dry and clean. Some hop character provides decent balance. Dry finish. Medium bodied. A pretty good effort. Cask (handpump), Blue Cow Inn, South Witham, Lincs. We were hoping for more than one of the beers brewed at the pub, and only for the pub, but this was the only one on when we visited..
