Light golden coloured body with almost a fake golden yellow colour - neat! Aroma of lemons, citrus and funky fake sugars. Light-bodied; Strong pungent fake lemon flavours with icing sugar and malt very noticeable. Aftertaste shows a lot of sweetness, citrus and a twangy maltiness. Overall, honestly not a horrible beer and definitely one to drink in the hot days in Beijing! I sampled this 355 mL can purchased at a small shop near Ti’an’amen Squar in Beijing, PRC on 13-August-2007.

Can. Pale golden colour with no head. Aroma is sweet, lemon, rice, atificial. Flavour is sweet, lemon, orange, lemon, sugar, artificial sweetness. What is this ?

UPDATED: FEB 20, 2011 Can. A pale yellow, clear drink with lots of bubbles and no head. Artificial sweetness and lemon on the nose. Some very faint notes of beer in the far back. Expected some sourness judging from the aroma, but the flavor is just artificial sweet and lemony. Thin, sticky mouthfeel. Sweet, lemony finish. Next to horrific. 100423

Canned. Very pale yellow, no head. Artificial lemon aroma like at a newly cleaned urinoir. Very sweet and sugary. Too sweet even for being lemonade.
