Tart green apple and sweet honey up front, then an after thought of vanilla aroma. Tiny bit of head from carbonation with a pale golden color. More of a fizzy cider than anything. Although the honey is very much noticeable. Better than a Woodchuck, but not by much.

Can. I just donít get this one. It dosenít really taste like mead to me. Itís more like beer that has had a like honey, apple and maybe just a touch of vanilla flavor. Not too good.

Aroma is honey and mild/medium mustiness. The flavor is honey, cider characteristics, syrupy body and a warming alcohol and tart finish.

12 ounce can from Beer Run. Pours a hazy pale pear yellow color with a thin creamy head that sticks around a bit. Aroma of caramel, apple, honey, mild vinous notes and vanilla. The taste is honey, apples, vanilla-caramel candy. Thin bodied, low carbonation, slight lingering tartness.

Very pale yellow with a thin skim of white head. Aroma and taste have a cheesy tart chardonnay quality with sparkling cider components. $2/oz

Can from Whole Foods Chattanooga - pours clear pale yellow with some bubbles. More accurately this is a cyser (cider + mead), thatís heavy on the cider side, as indicated by the relatively low alcohol, when compared to your average mead. That said, I didnít get much of the honey elements, mainly just tart green apples. Itís not bad, but I was disappointed by the effort. Meh.
