On tap at Blue Frog. I like mine without leamon. Good head when served and disapears to a small lace. A yellow orange color from unfiltered tap with a good bananna flavor. Easy to drink. A good beer for a hot summer afternoon.

4 ounce sample on tap at the brewpub 12/16/06. Spiced, lemon, grainy aroma. There are also some cloves detected as well. A light mustiness also comes through. Laslty, there are some bubblegum aromas. Quite a bit going on here in the nose. Moderately hazy blonde body with a medium frothy white head. Biscuity, lightly sweet, grainy start. The flavor becomes a little citric and lemony in the middle. Sweet bubblegum flavors come through in the end. Chewy, well-balanced, and drinkable. Good stuff.

UPDATED: JUN 30, 2008 Beer on tap at Blue Frog in Fairfield, CA. This hefe has the most lemony-honey flavor of any I’ve tasted to date. The wheat was light, but it was a great brew I’m buying a growler full

4oz sampler on tap at the brew pub in Fairfield, CA. Smelled of lemon with a hint of honey. Very full flavored hefe that hit the spot. This is something I would buy again.

In the bomber bottle from HyVee CB. The cake of yeast was so compacted and there was so much of it that I could not get all of it into the weizen glass. Still, a beautiful pour of rich brown-tinged gold with a huge frothy white head. Nice esters to the aroma. While this was clearly not german in its profile, it was a very delicious and enjoyable beer. I would definitely buy this again.

Tap. A murky yellow vanilla milk shake color that must be from the unfiltered tap. A spicy and clove aroma with orange and coriander.
