Ben Franklin was an amazing gentleman for his time. A constant tinkerer, inventor, scientist, diplomat and negotiator, and avid ale consumer, Ben was never one to stay still for very long. One of our favorite Franklin quotes has become our mantra for the brew house: ”Beer is proof God loves us and wants us to be happy” In honor of Ben’s 300th birthday, we are pleased to release Poor Richard’s Ale on our nitrogen tap. This historical recipe is similar to a style of beer popular during Ben’s exciting lifetime. Brewed with several malts, flaked corn, molasses, English hops and a turbo charged ale yeast, this beer rocks. Aromas of fresh fruit and honey followed by creamy texture and slightly bitter sweet finish make this beer tasty. I think Ben would be proud. OG 14.61 ˚P FG 3.56 ˚P 32 IBU’s 6.0% alcohol by volume
