On tap at groggery. Not much love for the red either. It was malty, but misdirected as the flavors and palate were everywhere.

Jun 29, 2008 4 oz sample from the Blue Frog in Fairfield, CA. This was a thin-bodied beer with a malty carmel taste balanced out with a little bit of hops. One of the better beers I’ve had at the Blue Frog.

Oct 5, 2007 Tasted during the San Diego Fesival of Beer. Reddish color with smallish off-white head. Decent citrus aromas. Flavors were a little more toasted, with a nice hoppy finish. Not too bad

Sep 13, 2007 Auburn red in color with a small white head. Aroma of toasty caramel malt and a little bit of Pacific Northwest Hops. Nice caramel malt flavors. Not too sweet though. A little toasty malt too. Finish is mildly hoppy. Probably more crisp than anything. A nice amber ale. Probably the best thing I have had from this brewery.

May 28, 2007 Pours a fantastic deep red color. Big malty aromas and flavors. Nice big bitter finish. Excellent.
