Bottle shared by Dogbrick. Clear amber pour with a medium beige head. Aroma of grainy malt and grassy hops. Flavor is grainy malt, fruit, syrup and grassy hops. I think this one was past its prime.

Pours tiny hazy deep golden with a creamy offwhite head that is rather quick to dissipate while leaving ome trace on the glass. Smell is sweet and malty with caramel, sugar, pineapple, mango, pine, basement, nuts, freshly cut grass and hints of alcohol, mould and wet soil. Taste is sweet, bitter, malty, floral and tiny metallic with honey, pineapple, mango, orange peal, nuts, dark sweet bread, cereal, alcohol, freshly cut grass and hints of caramel. Mouthfeel is smooth, boozy, tiny oily bitter and medium to full bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with pine, dark sweet bread, mango, pineapple and fresh grass.

Bottle at "30 år av surt", on May 5, 2012 in Göteborg. Orangée claire, col léger crémeux blanc. Arôme de malt/grains, aspect brassin houblon s’en retrouve très en retrait. En bouche, palais épais, aspect foin, malt prend le dessus sur un caramel bien présent, sec et poussiéreux garde ce côté de grains de brassin, le houblon et une légère amertume percent en fin de bouche pour un profile agrumes et léger tabac. Au moins l’étiquette annonce l’usage de bcp de malt.

Bottle (bomber), courtesy of marsiblursi. Clear amber, medium off-white head. Potatoe cellar malt aroma, citric & piney hops. Meidum bodied, medium carbonation. Semi dry with medium bitterness. A weak DIPA.

Clear golden color, white head. Sweet, malty, hoppy scent. Hoppy, green, bitter taste. Bitter, spicy, alcohol aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness.

(Bottle) Pours dark orange to amber with an off-white head. The aroma holds nuts, caramel, potato, honey, syrupy fruits, flowers, nectar, mild citrus, alcohol and touch of wood. The flavour light. to medium sweet, medium bitter and light acidic with notes of grapefruit, flowers, grass, resinous wood, bread, honey, caramel, grain and alcohol. The mouthfeel is round with a light carbonation. Grapefruit, fruits, flowers, honey and potato on the finish. Medium bodied.

30 år surt. Pours clear dark amber with a decent bubbly off white head. Aroma is malty sweet caramel citric fruity piny molassis. Flavor is a bit watery, nutty, sweet and citric in front, more malts and grainy bready in middle and bitter pungent towards the end. Finishes bitter pungent.

Sampled at 30åravsurt Slightly hazy golden. Sweet, earthy and slightly moulde aroma. Pretty light body. Sweet with grassy hops and hazelnuts. Medium to high bitterness.

Bottle at "30 år av surt". Golden beer , small head. Hazelnut aroma, malty. Nutty flavor, malty, some hops. Quite a disappointment.

A - pours very clear apple juice amber with high fluffy white head. Strong lacing. S - strong dark dried fruit smell up front. Aromas of caramel malts, strong grains(dog food) and brown sugar. M - medium bodied lightly sticky sweet, very malty brew. All malts in fact. T - very sweet over the top malts. Dark dried fruits, caramel malts, strong grains up front. Hints of hops and grasses. Lingering sticky malty end. O - slightly better than average brew. Way too malty. 6-

22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy darker orange with a medium white head. Aroma is quite syrup (uh-oh), with candied fruit, sugar and some resinous hops somewhere in there. Flavour is quite cloyingly sweet, with too much of this syrupy quality, medicinal notes / cough syrup, resinous hops, candied floss and finishes syrupy sweet. This is exactly how not to make a IIPA - poor blending and way too sweet. Quite gross really.
