Named after my little one, Walter, this brew is a very smooth and drinkable ale. A minimal hop presence makes way for the delicate malt flavors and aromas to shine through. The biscuity and bready flavors are the most notable on this beer and have a pleasing effect on the palate.

On draught at the Blue Heron brewpub in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear copper brown colored brew with a creamy off-white head that has some excellent retention and good lacing. Aroma of roasted caramel and brown malts, a hint of toffee, and light floral hops. Taste is medium bodied, flavors of toasted Munich malts, floral hops and a hint of toffee. Finish is semi-dry with a good balance of bitterness and toffee aftertaste.
