On draught at the Blue Heron brewpun in Marshfield, WI. Pours a semi-clear caramel amber brew with a creamy beige head that slowly dissipates to an off-white ring with some some spotty lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, toffee, candi sugar, raisins, brown sugar and some butterscotch. Taste is medium to full bodied, some light carbonated with flavors of caramel malt, roasted nuts, brown sugar, and some flowery hops. Finish is more smooth than the previous Central Waters version with some extra alcohol warmth and a lingering candi sugar flavor.
