COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This dark German lager is brewed with 100% German Munich and a splash of dark malt for color. Rich bread like malt with hints of chocolate and nuts with a bittersweet chocolate finish that dries the palate and persists.

Heftyt coffee aroma. The flavor is similar, with a hint of coffee and a thick, malt body. Not bad.

On draught at the Blue Heron brewpub in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Pours a clear cola brown colored brew with a fast dissolving beige head that leaves behind some spotty lacing. Aroma of chocolate and Munich malt, some dry leafy medicinal hops and a touch of tobacco. Taste is medium bodied, nice balanced carbonation with flavors of toasted and burnt chocolate malt, medicinal spice and a hint of banana pepper without the hot spice. Finish is quite dry, mild bitterness that lingers a little.
