On draught at the brewpub in downtown Marshfield, Wisconsin. Pours an opaque dark brown brew with a creamy beige head that quickly dissipates to a film top and beige ring. Aroma of mostly roasted coffee grounds that overpowers all other aromas with maybe a hint of roasted dark malt and molasses with some flowery hops. Taste is mostly coffee flavor, with a hint of chocolate and flowery hop flavor. Finish continues a coffee aftertaste at first and then changes to milk chocolate and then a dry toasted dark malt flavor.
