This brew is a hop forward beer. Three different hop varieties encompass the beer’s hop profile. Amarillo hops is the main player though, dry hopped with 3.5 pounds in fact. Raise a pint to the sailors who weathered the storms on their journeys to India, making I.P.A. a style.

On draught at the Blue Heron brewpub in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear dark amber colored brew with a creamy off-white head that slowly dissipates and leaves behind some excellent lacing. Aroma of multi-hop profile that has the Three C’s and even some tangerine. Taste is medium bodied, more Amarillo hop presence than all other hops with a hint of caramel malt and some tangerine. Finish is slightly sweet with a tangy orange zest aftertaste that is short lived. A soft bittered IPA is the best way to describe this unique IPA.
