COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Searching for a lighter beer with character? Well here’s an amber beer, modestly hopped, with just 3.2% ABV and bursting with rich English malts and a light, complex, dry roast finish.

On draught during GTMW 2010 Festival in Madison, Wisconsin. Pours a clear brownish copper colored brew with a flat dissolving off-white head that leaves behind some spotty lacing. Aroma is semi-sweet with caramel malt, a hint of butterscotch, roasted peat and a touch of toffee. Taste is light bodied, soft carbonation with flavors of caramel malt, very light floral hops, a touch of honey and some smoked peat. Finish is quite malty, semi-sweet and no bitterness. There’s a lot of flavor going on for this light scottish ale.
