Pours a clear, light copper with fairly persistent white head that soon falls back. Bits of lace rim the inside as one drinks. Aroma gives up dryish grain with a touch of malt sweetness and a crisp hop bitter. Flavor is slightly nutty up front with dry grain and moderate, crisp clean hop fighting for the next flavor burst. (Both win.) Follows up with a slight sweetness and finishes dry with a medium body. This is a solid Vienna.

On draught at the brewpub in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Pours a clear, copper-penny amber brew with a fast dissolving white head that leaves behind a ring and little lacing. Aroma of light caramel malt, some flowery hops and touch of tropical fruit. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonated with flavors or caramel malt, some slight citrus bitterness and some light apple. Finish is gritty and grainy texture, slightly tart with a mild bitterness. Much better than the previous visit.
