COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our I.P.A. has a fiery amber color and weighs in at 6.6% ABV. We use a blend of American hops to give it a citrus, almost tangerine aroma from the top of the glass. As you drink the beer you can taste the sweet creamy caramel malt roll over your tongue. At the end once again taste the big hop flavor that is a trademark of all I.P.A.’s, but yet, so smooth that it won’t make you pucker at the bitterness.

12oz Bottle poured at Real Ales for Hope - Providence, RI. Aroma had a minty, leafy green hoppiness to it. Pours a nice darker caramel amber. Compared to the Pub Draught, I prefer the darker, maltier richer body to hold up against the rather metallic hops, but am still confused by the level of hopping that they’re willing to call IPA, personally.

An almost-India pale with the aroma of sugar and grapefruit. Copper beer that’s mildly turbid. Moderate head and lace. Taste is all sweet malt, with hops only perceptible in the middle. Has almost a chalky feel. Medium body, and not well carbonated. IPAs are consistently overrated here at ratebeer, and this one is no exception.

Mall Liquors, Boston 650ml ($5): Pours a amber color with a white head. Aroma is heavily slanted towards the land of malt, but some citrusy hops come through. Upon tasting it, it does taste somewhat sweet from the caramel malts. The subtle grapefruit flavor from the hops comes through and adds a nice little edge to this. This is ultimately not a particularly ambitious IPA, but a fine session ale.

From the 22 fl. oz. bottle. The pour is a non-fizzy, cloudy amber. The first scent that penetrates my nose is grapefruit....citrussy, acidic grapefruit. The hops seem to be buried behind that. The body is medium. The taste is also very grapefruit-like while the hops don’t make me pucker up. They feel more subtle that the typical IPA’s that I am familiar with. Yet it did have its own refreshing quality about it.

22 ounce thanks to Alldaydrinker. Labels says "Pub Draft IPA." Slightly sweet and bitter IPA. Golden body. Nice bitter hops. Aroma a bit malty. Some caramel in finish.

Pub Draft IPA. A nice sweeter IPA that isnt very bitter. The malt bill is enough to overtake the hops a bit which is unfortunate. Flavor is pleasant and with more hops could be great.

Had both pub draft and regular. Bigger fruitler flavors in the pub draft. The other regular ipa just tastes watery. nuts,

Fruity and light hops aroma with some malt undertones. A sort of bland taste, lacked character....disapointed.

Tasted in bottle. Aroma of hops tends a bit more towards the earthy, cheesy side - surprised they use American hops. The hops are there in the flavor, but aren’t super prominent; fairly malty. Decent, if a bit uninteresting.

A: The pour is a slightly hazed amber color with a thin layer of off-white foam. S: The nose is bland and bready, lots of biscuit malt aroma with a strange apple juice note. Quite sweet and perhaps even a bit of butter. T: The flavor has a strange quality to it that I cannot quite describe. Certainly a touch of hop bitterness but no discernible hop flavor. More of the apple juice notes. M: The body is medium with a lively carbonation and a crisp, lightly bitter finish. This is probably the best part about this beer. D: Just a really odd beer. I would call this more of a Pale Ale than anything, but it does not quite fit there either. I can’t say that it was bad, but it certainly wasn’t great either.
