Poured from the tap into a tasting glass. The color is a dark red with a finger and a half of foamy white head, little lacing. The smell is a nice roasty malt flavor and a slight spicey, peppery hop flavor. The taste is a bit toasty bread with a fruity hop flavor. Some caramel flavor in the background. The feel of this beer is light with and easy drinability.It goes down pretty easy as well and was smooth. IT is lower in ABV so it does make for a decent session bee

UPDATED: SEP 17, 2009 Bottle. Coppery color. Not much head or carbonation. Was worried when it smelled like Coors light, but it tastes better than expected which isn’t very good. Bland and not recommended.

Tap at the ACBF 2009: Copper pour with an off white head. Sweet aroma with a caramel note and some vegetal malt character as well. Light body. Some caramelized grains in the flavor with nondescript fruity undertones. A very simple and one dimensional session.
