3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 halfonit (972) - Fall River, USA - MAR 17, 2011
On tap at Battleship Brewhouse. Pours a dark golden color. Aroma is of hops, spices, and a little lactic. Flavor is pretty hoppy. Some malts come up after the initial hop flash and then it takes an earthy lactic and spice finish. Leaves a fresh hoppy and vegetable spice finish. A little different than what I was expecting.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 Duhast500 (362) - Exile In Medford, Massachusetts, USA - AUG 17, 2010
Poured from a 22oz. bottle into a pint glass.
The color is a dark gold with about a finger or two of head and some nice lacing.
The smell is a little caramel with some nice spicie flavor that is mixed with a slight CO2 flavor.
The taste is fresh bitterness that is there at first touch and goes into a smooth light malt flavor. A peppery flavor gives this beer a really interesting feel and leads into a nice refreshing caramel flavor.
The feel of this beer is light to medium with a good amount of carbonation and is pretty easy drinking. A spring Marzen with some nice caramel flavor. This gives a nice preview of things to come.

Pours clear bright amber into a Sam glass. White head with excellent retention recedes leaving spot lacing to skim surface. Sweet caramel and bread aromas. Dry with upfront toasted nuts turning peppery in the lasting slightly hot finish.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 SuIIy (1877) - Natick, Massachusetts, USA - JUN 26, 2010
22oz bottle. Pours a transparent copper color with a foamy off white head which recedes leaving fairly heavy lacing and a thick layer on the surface. Nose is light caramel and nutty, toasted malt notes. Palate is fluffy with a touch of a syrupy note and a light velvet layer left on the tongue. Quite refreshing actually. Flavors are nutty, toasty malts with some caramel stickiness and a light earthy hop note.
