COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This golden ale is a real thirst quencher. Moderately hopped, it is designed to accent the crisp flavor of the 2-row malt used in brewing this “light” beer.

Aroma of floral hops. Flavor is of bread malt and and some notes of the hops and a watery finish. Nothing interesting.

From a growler. Not sure why this is listed as "xtra," they spell it normally on their bottle / website. Pours a light gold with small bubbly gray head which leaves quickly. Aroma of blueberry pound cake, sweet citrus hops. Taste is not as good as aroma, but it’s not bad. Has a slight lemon sourness, with actually a kind of wheat / belgian spice bite on the finish, all over a backbone of pound cake like malts. Has some hefeweizen like flavors. Slightly watery palate. Again this is not bad, but I feel like their IPA is similar to this but much improved, so I’ll recommend that to you.

On tap at Deep Ellum. Pours a clear pale yellow with a thick white head. Aroma of pale sweet malt and floral hops. Flavor of sweet pale malts and light fruits with a bready/wheaty finish. Pretty tasty and easy drinking too. 7/4/8/4/14 (3.7/5)

Poured into a pint glass from the tap The color is a light gold, a bit light for an a, with a white foamy head. The smell was a bit fruity, citrus hops, and sweet malt. The taste is a bit biscuity, with a clean bitterness complementing it. Finished with a lingering hop bitterness on the palate. A nice lighter ale that is well balanced. This is a good beer to have after a harder beer. It will refresh your pallete.
