From the moment the unique aroma hits you right down to the very last gulp, blue ice is a true gem in the world of beer. I had the fortunate experience of discovering blue ice in Kuala Lumpur whilst doing missionary work there, it was a treat, a true life changing moment and i feel blessed to have drunk such a monumentous beer. I say god bless blue ice and all who sail in her! oh6gdx (8838), Vasa, Finland

Aroma is harsh rice, some metal and skunkyness. Flavour is metallic, toffeeish (diacetyl), rice and oh well some sourness. Oh man oh man. We drank all the cans in the fridge and it was a gift from heaven! Thank you Blue Ice Squad... Gillespie Bart (1629), Brussels, Belgium

Sweet grainy strange and almost skunky aroma. Rather bad and flat palate. Finish is grainy, sweet with even hints of toothpaste. This is not an enjoyable beer. asedzie (453), San Francisco, California, USA

Taste seems like it is almost all adjunct - if that is at all possible. I detect malt somewhere in there, but it is cheap and sweet. A little bit like vomit. Leaves a sickly, metallic aftertaste. I don’t know if it gets much worse than this. TBone (6741), Pori, Finland

Golden color, not much head. Sweet malty aroma with hints of corn and skunky hops. As most of the ice beers - mostly tasteless. Alcohol brings mostly fruity harsh flavors, a bit sugary finish. Bottle sampled in Chiang Mai, Thailand. jayinhk (8), Hong Kong does not count | 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Aug 18, 2006 It’s drinkable, but barely. I used to drink 12 oz bottles of the stuff when I was much younger. I told my mom to get me some beer at the store, and she brought home two 22s of this swill. I live in Hong Kong, BTW. Another reviewer said it smelled like cider, and it kind of does. It doesn’t have much flavor or bitterness; it’s bland, and there isn’t much of a head to it either. voota (761), Melbourne, Australia

Pissy couloured with no head at all. The taste reminded me of a mixture of pale lager and white wine I tried years ago. There were no hops, the finish was foul and metallic. Just awful, the abv is the only thing going for this one. The can says, "A whole new beer experience" I could not think of a better way to describe this filth.
