Sampled on Flashy’s tour of LA, New Zealand and Hong Kong of September/October 2007 - An awful lager. This had absoltely no taste at all. That’s it.

Blue Ice Beer is a fun beer to order at a sushi bar, but nothing more. There is very little taste in this watery european strong ale.

Can, found in Asia. Nothing to remember, weak and thin, but a strong malt taste. Makes it like a small 40oz

Good looking with a good head. Almost tasteless, very watery and with almost no aroma. This one was bought as a 640ml bootle in Hong Kong.

Relatively speaking, this ice beer tastes remarkably better than many of the other beers of similar alcohol content I’ve had in Thailand. Even if the "beer" flavor was not so hot, I did not detect hints of strychnine, rocket fuel, or grain fungus, so well done on there. If you’re looking for something else, maybe you missed the three inch tall letters spelling the word "ICE" on the exceptionally boring label.

It’s drinkable, but barely. I used to drink 12 oz bottles of the stuff when I was much younger. I told my mom to get me some beer at the store, and she brought home two 22s of this swill. I live in Hong Kong, BTW. Another reviewer said it smelled like cider, and it kind of does. It doesn’t have much flavor or bitterness; it’s bland, and there isn’t much of a head to it either.

Bottled with a pale golden colour. The flavor is not so bad but gives an unpleasent aftertaste.

Simply a beautiful drop of ale. From the moment the unique aroma hits you right down to the very last gulp, blue ice is a true gem in the world of beer. I had the fortunate experience of discovering blue ice in Kuala Lumpur whilst doing missionary work there, it was a treat, a true life changing moment and i feel blessed to have drunk such a monumentous beer. I say god bless blue ice and all who sail in her!
