Cask; Regular. Also avaolable bottled and in keg.

A pale, strong ale. A complex and sophisticated IPA, using assertive American hops. Aromas of resinous pine, orange and just the right level of citrussiness. A dry finish and moderate bitterness make this deceptively quaffable for its 5.4%, so take care!
Colour: Golden
Hops: Simcoe, Chinook

Bottle from BeerBods (500ml). A lovely woody after taste, medium bitterness, lightly sour, slick feel, and with soft carbonation. Particularly enjoyable (especially given the warm weather) and, as the official description says, it is deceptively quaffable!

Gravity at GBBF 2014. Poured a clear, pale golden colour, with a thin white head. Aroma of fresh hops, citrus and mango. Grapefruit hop flavours, with some melon and straw. Finish was lemon, hay and some nice resinous bitterness. A very pleasant surprise.

Sampled @ GBBF. Clear golden color, average sized white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, hops, a hint of citrus and mango, lightly bitter. Low to average body and carbonation. Decent.

Aroma: average bread malts. Appearance: clear light gold, small frothy white head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, average-long bitter finish. Overall: not very nice aroma, could be hoppier for an IPA. Pint at GBBF 2014, Kensington.

Cask at GBBF 2014. Clear, confident and robust mid-gold with a thin loose white head. White grape, apple and wood shavings in the aroma. Juicy. Sweetness is quickly overcome by biter hop flavour. A fairly bitter note in the finish along with a slight buttery note that I canít get to terms with. Full body. This is good, but not one of the top beers Iíve had at the festival. Surprised this is a medal winner with such stiff competition.

Cask at the 2014 GBBF. Golden coloured pour with a loose lasting white head. Aroma is nice berry and hedgerow hop, grains. Flavour is grassy, lemon citrus hop, some dyalr malts. Fairly clean hoppy and drinkable.

Cask - Floral grapefruit hops. Clear gold with a frothy white head. Dank and cardboard hops. Too bad the flavour doesnít coin side with the great nose and appearance.

Bottle from Beers of Europe [270414]
Pale blonde, slight haze, thin white head
Aroma - Citrus hops, soft light sweet hop resins, nice light sweet pale malt background, fresh floral citrus hop nose
Taste as aroma, nice fresh zesty citrus, soft floral notes, always like these light sweet pale malts in hoppy beers, some pine, really nice sharp zest
Palate - soft carb, light to medium body, good bitter sweet balance, nice zesty fresh palate. Finish as main flavour, crisp and clean.
Overall - Really good beer, moreish and quaffable

Golden with a creamy white head and thin lacing. Aroma of malt, tropical fruit, pine and alcohol. Taste is sweet, with tropical fruit, malty with a medium to strong bitter finish with grassy hops and a hint of alcohol. Minerally and slightly spicy. Super.
