On cask. Appearance: light yellow, small white head. Aroma: light lemon, sweet, mildly hopped, quite mellow, almost a lemonade/shandy aroma. Flavour: decently hopped, lemon peel, really great citrus, refreshing hoppy finish. Simple and delightful.

Cask at The Old Fountain. Very pale straw coloured pour with a tight creamy head. The aroma is very citrusy with a lot of zesty lemon and some light crackery pale malt. Very zesty and fruity. A lovely brew really.

UPDATED: MAY 17, 2012 Cask conditioned Handpump Swan & Rushes Leicester. A bright gold coloured beer with a whitish head and lacing. This is a lovely hoppy beer with fresh notes throughout. A bit of orange and grapefruit with a good malt backbone. Fresher and more pleasant in the mouth than the nose, but both elements are good. Nice. Score 3.6

(Cask at GBBF, London Earl’s Court, 4 Aug 2010) Pale golden colour with greenish hints. Brief white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, grass and generous doses of very fresh hops. Probably dry hopped. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, grass, tropical fruit (pineapple) and lots of fresh hops in the finish. Impressive hop presence, with more focus on aroma than on bitterness. Slightly below medium body, with some sweetness. Very nice and tasty.
