One of those beers where the nice parts are in the beginning and in the end. The middlepart is so-so. Very floral aroma that returns in the long finish. Tastes almost American to me.

500ml Bottle - Amber with a foamy head. Grapefruit, dried apricot and toffee in the aroma. Hoppy, fruity, tangy and nicely balanced taste with notes of toffee, peach, grapefruit and biscuity malt. Lovely stuff.

Cask at the Craft Beer Co. - Clerkenwell, London. Pours clear gold with a light, white foam head. Light toasty dough aroma, moderate citrus hops. Light to medium sweet flavor, nice doughy malts, orangey citrus. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Balanced finish of light, toasty dough, further citrusy bitterness. Very drinkable, well rounded golden ale.

Bottle. Orange rusty colour. Oranges in the mouth. Nice but a touch too rich. Still a good beer though

Big amarillo nose. Lovely juicy aroma. Malt generally overwhelmed by big dose of hops, which ensure a long bitter finish. Lovely.

On cask at Bignall End Cricket Club. Fruity, light golden ale. A bit too sweet but a perfectly good beer for it’s style.

On cask at The Townhouse Pub’s 10th Annual Beer Festival, Ely. A golden ale with a fair white head. Aroma of toffee and caramel. Tastes quite sweet with malt, toffee, caramel, candy sugar and barley flavours. A little resinous with a fruity hop linger.

Cask gravity at The Bell Inn, Ivychurch, Kent. Dark gold, some haze, lasting thin white head. Earthy hop aroma, bit young in mouth. Good beer though, drinkable. Good stinging finish.
