Cask at Craft Beer Co, Islington. Pours dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of milk chocolate, not much else. Very chocolaty taste too. Like drinking a dessert. Nice, if you like chocolate beers.

Cask at craft beer co n1.,. Aroma is sweet coco choc and vanilla. Opaque black , dark caramel coloured pour with a lasting light tan head. Flavour is rich drinking chocolate, nutty walnuts and vanilla. Big in flavour. Palate is slightly sweet. Some alcohol presence in the finish.

Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. This is a black opaque beer with red highlights. It pours without any sort of head and has rich chocolate and liquorice flavours with chocolate and roasted notes on the finish.

Light black vergeing on dark mahogony brown with a thin tan covering.
Nose is roast malts, toffee, chocolate, a well balanced aroma with a hint of sweetness.
Taste comprises milk chocolate, light roast, tar, earthy, toffee.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation - nice conditioning, dry roasty finish.
