Cask gravity at Gbbf 2011. Black with dark brown edges. Lasting beige head. Its a decent dry stout with some choc some dark fruots. And good hop finish. Whats the difference between this and a black ipa I hear you cry? very good I thought in fact excellent.

Cask. A deep red beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel as well as a hint of butter. The flavor is very sweet with notes of caramel, butterscotch, and malt, leading to a dry and lightly roasted finish.

Cask at GBBF 2010, 4th Aug 2010. Black, no head. Very smooth. Very nice dark beer with the emphasis on mouthfeel rather than taste. Some roasted notes but way too bland in my opinion.
