On cask at Brigantes, York. Served pale and clear with a good condition. Has a strong spicy citrus taste, with hints of grapefruit and lemon. Spicy bitter finish

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Islington, London, 25 Nov 2015) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit and resiny hops. Malty, fruity taste with citrus, orange peel, grapefruit, biscuits and a generous resiny/citric bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well made IPA. Nice one.

Cask at the Organ Grinder. Aroma tropical fruit pineapples and peaches. Golden body and thin top. The taste is fruity too but mellow more gentle syrup than citrus. Possibly a toffee note or something to enhance the smoothness. I have had the Infinity in the past but this is better. For someone who favours the darker end of the beer spectrum, this is a pleasant surprise.

Cask conditioned at The Organ Grinder, Nottingham. Orange amber with white head. There is a big alcohol note to this, peachy then orange in character. Fruity throughout then with a leafy note. Pretty decent.

Cask at The Holy Inadequate, Etruria. A clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of orange, grapefruit, mango, subtle pine and grassy hops. Taste of orange, grapefruit, lemon, some resin, subtle caramel and grassy hops. Medium bodied and an oily texture. A good, resinous hop bitterness in the finish. The infinity was decent and I like this much more, hoppy and so drinkable.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear gold, thin white head. Aromas of almonds, butterscotch, apples, raisins. Taste is more of the same. Apple on the finish. Ok. No citra on evidence.

Bottle from the Beer Emporium, Bristol, Saturday 30th May 2015 consumed in Frank with Lynn and Barry Pours light amber in colour with a white head. Aroma is citrussy but a bit muted. Taste also starts with a little citrus burst but there is a bit of tropicalness going on here as well, but flavours are a little indistinct and wishy-washy. Blue Monkey in a bottle just don’t seem anywhere near as good as they do in cask. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1
