Gbbf 2012. Clear pure gold colour lasting white head. Diacetyl on aroma. Some then sweaty hops on the flavour. Decent condition and hops are good but diacetyl takes away from it.

Cask at the Craft. Almost clear gold beer. Little white head. Light semi dry palate, a little fine carbonation. Mild pale malt with a tiny bit of cream supports good tangy orange hops - blood orange and a litytle tangerine. Finishes semi dry with mild bitter linger. Not had better than this from Blue Monkey. Great beer on a muggy evening.

Gravicask (PBBF2012)
7 Huge citrussy aroma, sweet satsuma, zesty in places.
4 Mid orange, huge frothy sticky head.
7 Sweet malts, milky grains. Slightly grapefruity hops, but sweeter orange zest too.
4 Grapefruity bitter bite. Smooth palate. Lovely hoppy finish, as you’d expect from the taste.
15 Storming IPA. Great balance, quaffability high.

Cask at Howl at the Moon, London. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white cap. Nose holds ripe citrus, especially orange, and also some toasted straw and light lemon. Light sweet flavor, faintly tangy with lemon and orange, some jammy marmalade, mild wet straw bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Light sweet to finish, slightly sticky with more marmalade citrus character and some light, sun-kissed grass. It’s OK.

Cask, Longstop, Leicester. Pale gold with a white head. Aromas are biscuit with crisp lemon and grapefruit. Peanuts with bready yeast and hints of mango. Flavours are dry biscuit with zesty, bittersweet lemon marmalade. Quite peppery to finish. A very nice easy drinking blonde.

Cask, handpump at The Sportsman, Huddersfield 17.03.12 in company of dad & Barry Gold in colour with a white head. Crystal clear, in fact looks very good. Soft in the mouth with a pleasant bittersweetness and good hoppiness showing throughout, quite tropical tasting at times. Yum, nice beer. A7 A5 T7 P4 Ov15 3.8
