Gravity dispense at Craft 100, Clpaham CBC, 03/04/14. Dark mahogany brown with a light tan covering. Nose is chocolate forward, light roast, milk chocoalte, bourbon biscuits, very subtle whisky tones. Taste comprises dark toffee fudge, cheap tasting chocolate, dark berry fruits, light camp fire, not much whisky. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok stout, didn’t get much whisky.

Scopey (7375) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 7, 2014
Cask gravity at Craft 100. It pours darkest brown with a small beige head. The nos is sweet milk chocolate, cocoa, candy and earthy notes. The taste is sweet, milk chocolate, light medicinal notes, pepper, coffee, and mild acidity with a dry finish. Light-medium body, low carbonation and sticky mouth-feel. Pretty sweet for my liking and not as much depth as I had hoped for. So-so.

Bottle. Near black with a beige foam. Aromas are roast coffee with toffee and caramel. Light berries with earthy notes and background whiskey malt. Peat with liquorice and nutty, woody aspects. Flavours are coffee with sweet weetabix and gritty cocoa. Blackberry with whiskey and molasses. Dry with a warming, spicy finish. The whiskey is a nice addition.
