Bottle. Pours a copper color with white head. Grainy, earthy, honey aromas. Earthy, honey, malty, dough flavors. Nothing great.

Bottle. Least favorite Blue Moon I’ve tried. Aroma was very heavy, bitter, and nearly acrid. It had a medium to stiff golden tan head, with a hazy golden hue throughout. The taste was at best mediocre, consisting of overwhelming bitterness, and none of the sweetness or floral notes expected with an agave addition. The mouthfeel was the only redeeming quality of this beer. It was crisp and refreshing.

Bottle. A deep bronze body with a bright white head. Sweet honey and peanuts are massive in the nose. Hints of dough are also present. This tastes fairly sweet with lots of dough and some sweet potatoes. There is a lightly spicy note of black pepper on the back end. Decent, but a little cloying.

Bottle. The look is clear, whitish head, bright golden in color. The smell is sweet, apple juice, veggie, and fruity. The taste is veggie, fruit, malt, and honey.

Bottle. Pours a clear dark gold body with a small fizzy white head that retained as a thin ring. The nose shows a slight sweetness over a light wheat and pale malt base. The flavor is pretty negligible as far as the agave nectar goes. There’s a slight residual sweetness on the finish, but it doesn’t really taste any different than what you might get from using corn. Light wheat and grassy notes with zero yeast influence. Light bodied and very fizzy with a lingering sweet finish. This isn’t bad by any means, but I don’t really taste anything special that I can attribute to the use of agave nectar versus the average heavily filtered Wheat Ale.

Sweet. Very sweet. Like, really overly sweet. Agave beer is always disappointing because I want it to taste less like agave syrup and more like tequila or mezcal. This is the former.

Clear amber. Small white head. Aroma and flavor is sweet, malty, some grain. Light to medium body. No real depth or anything. Its not bad, just a regular sugary beer.

Pour a darker gold with frothy head. Aroma is mainly malt but there is a bit of more sugary sweetness. Weak body and lightly carbonated, finishes a bit weak. I like the regular blue moon better.
