Inspired by our brewmasterís travels through Mexico, our limited summer release is crafted with agave nectar for a subtle sweetness and a smooth, crisp finish.

Pours a nice orange gold with an offwhite head. Bit of haze to it, nice carbonation. Sweeter than expected. not bad for a mass produced bear.

From can. Gold pour. Average white head. Mild nose of mostly wheat, some cracker yeast. Light body. Taste runs sweet, especially on finish, and increasingly so on warming. Active carbonation, more watery than not, generally crisp. Aftertaste has an unsettling aspartame aspect to it. Not surprising, but also not all that good. Drinkable. If this is whatís inspired by wandering the Mexican country, then you are doing it wrong.

Not terrible. Gold pour. Lemon, fruit (fake kiwi/strawberry sort of). Fairly sweet. Drinkable.

*Labeled agave blonde ale*. Not horrible but the aroma is quite weak! Pours ok - gold w/ a tiny white head & spotty lacing. The body is decent & pleasant on the palate. The taste is fairly bland & Iím not getting much from the agave. Itís a typical run of the mill summer fluff beer!

355ml bottle from The Beer Cellar 171013. As with all of the Blue Moon beers I have had this one is quite good. Faint sweetness in the background and even though the body is a bit thin and wispy in the mouth it still goes down a treat.

This is a descent beer. Nothing special but its just a nice crisp beer with enough flavour to make it interesting.

Ok, for those several people who know nothing about fermentation and somehow find themselves reading some random assholeís opinion of a Blue Moon seasonal: adding agave nectar to the beer you brew would not make it sweeter. It ferments into alcohol. Adding sugar be it hone, agave nectar, just straight out sugar or whatever, actually makes it more dry. Anyway, in case you couldnít guess, my main problem w/ this beer is itís kind of sweet and hence kind of gross because there is no flavor to play off the sweetness. It does at least pour a nice golden color and has a nice ring of head but the appearance is really the best thing about it. There is nothing really wrong w/ the nose though. Itís unexceptional w/ sort of a cut hay and grain husk thing going on. If it werenít oddly sweet, this would be pretty much in line w/ any cheap American beer w/ itís mild flavor and crisp carbonation. Instead, this has an exaggerated sugary malt sweetness. It is not over-the-top or anything but enough that each sip is marred by this lingering saccharine note on the tongue. It is actually disappointing because my first impression of the aroma lead me to think this might be a halfway decent beer.

Well, itís not terrible. Had a bottle at home. Pours a nice color for a wheat, actually. Had an orange/ coppery tint and a decent head. Bit of haze to it, nice cabonation. The agave kind of ruins it- too strong. I suppose mass produced beers have to play to the sweet loving palate. The wheat is actually nice. Needs some hoppiness. And finish is strange. Almost decent.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a slightly hazy gold, with a big, bubbly, off-white head. The aroma is honey, melons, strong floral notes, and some light esters. Very sweet flavor, with little balance. Light to medium body, slightly creamy, and a little acerbic. Overall, this is a pretty nice, flavorful, and drinkable beer, but it comes across a little too strong on the fruity aromas, and is much too sweet.
