Inspired by our brewmasterís travels through Mexico, our limited summer release is crafted with agave nectar for a subtle sweetness and a smooth, crisp finish.

Tap, pour is hazy yellow, aroma sweet, is a herbal wheaty and definitely the agave comes through and it doesnt really help, not for me,

Bottle: Shimmering golden pour, good clarity with lots of tiny bubbles, and a fizzy white head. Nose is malty, sort of grassey, and a little sweet. At first sip, Iím taken back in awe of the sweetness. A little grassey and some hints of malt; it gets a tiny bit metallic before ending in a rush of sweetness. Must be the agave nectar... Iíve had agave before, but this is way sweeter than I recall. Where is the malt or wheat to balance this out? Too sweet.

Not quite was I was expecting. Smell and appearance are ok, but taste is a bit off, and tastes kind of doughey. Not a fan.

Aroma: frontal sweetens with slight green herbal hop , mild fruity citrus hinted elements. Touch of pear and honey (agave?).
Apperance: poured as blend of gold with pale amber. Light white top , sparse lace on glass. Decent.3+
Taste/Palate etc. medium bodied with thin walls. Lighter carbonation. Malty front, touch of caramel with unfermented sugars. Bready backing. Peach with slight herbal hop hints at end. In the middle of what I expected.

My last random beer of the night. Blue Moonís Agave Nectar Ale. 5.6% bottle from Sugaya. On popping it open it smells like a Bud, not a good start! Poured into a weizen glass which revealed a very clear yellow gold beer though it looks like a Bud. The aroma gave me some cream soda notes, a bit of spice & yes possibly some agave. The full bodied mouthfeel is nice but the taste is super sugary, crushed grain & a touch of spice. I feel like I am drinking a soda, what a let down...

12oz bottle poured into a tumbler. Clear deep golden color with minimal head. Sweet aroma of honey, caramel and some malt, with faint nuttiness zero hops. Sweetish taste, caramel malt, some vegetal notes of sweet potato, ripe fruit, faint alcohol and no bitterness. Light bodied, not dry, easy to drink but more as a juice than a beer, and whereís the agave?

12 FL oz bottle from the shop at the Cable Mountain Lodge in Zion US shared with Ilse. Crystal clear golden body with a small white head. Aroma of malts and yeast. Medium-strong carbonation. Sweet taste. **

Appearance: clear honey-gold pour with a thin, vanishing white head. Aroma: light smell, a little floral honey, some cracker. Taste: light flavors of honey, pie crust, lemongrass. Finish: nonexistent. Notes: Watery palate, light flavors, weak nose. My expectations for "craft" brewer Blue Moon are low to begin with, but their base model ainít terrible. Itís not that this is offensively bad, per se. Itís just that thereís nothing THERE.

This beer is the closest to the perfect summer beer I have ever had. It is refreshing like a cold glass of water and quenches your thirst like a glass of cool water, unlike most beers I have tasted before. There are no outstanding flavors or any subtle hints I can detect. Just cool refreshing beer. Almost no hoppy flavor to it. Sadly this beer doesnít have much of a scent to it.

Clear, light golden pour with a white head. The aroma is sugary sweet with grains and light honey. Disappointing offering from Blue Moon (MillerCoors). Not one I will buy again.
