Really sweet sugary version of Blue Moon’s wheat beer. I recommend sticking with the original.

Well as a wise man once said "it ain’t great.....but it’s better than garbage!" Doubtful if he was talking about this beer, but it would be valid in this case. I sure wouldn’t go out of my way EVER to get this junk, but I think it would be fair to say that a bottle of this is better drinking than a mouthful of skunk-piss. Not exactly a ringing endorsement, I know, but this junk is not exactly Blatz. That’s how I roll. Or not.

Clear golden with a slightly vegetal an herbal aroma of agave and a light sweetness of honey and blonde malt. Flavor is crisp and sweet with some herbal honey tones up front and a smooth light malty finish.

Bottle.color was golden with a little head. Aroma was molasses (agave?). Taste was molasses and too sweet. Ok beer but won’t drink again.

Urp. Not bad, but not good. Average appearance, minimal head, tastes okay up-front with a pleasant yeasty/bready flavor with ample bitterness. but the aftertaste has an off-putting artificial-sweetener taste that gets old really fast, especially as it warms up.

Serving: 12 oz. bottle from Wegmans Leeburg. It pours a nice gold color with a small white head. The nose is weak with slight notes of a grainy sweetness. The flavor has a touch of agave syrup flavor combined with slight notes of yeast and wheat. Certainly not very dynamic, but drinkable. Light in body with average carbonation and a slightly sweet finish.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: DEC 23, 2013 Bottle from Woodman’s Foods in Onalaska, WI. The evening of bad beer continues. Clear golden pour with minimal head. Smells and tastes like a weak malt liquor - dark fruit and booze. Not good.
