It looks like a great beer. It’s probably the most opaque thing to come out of golden colorado. Taste comes up short, but I hope it becomes a gateway drug for people to find good belgian white ales.

This beer is the training wheels for people interested in making a switch from BMC. It’s slightly fruity and easy to drink. I don’t seek this beer out but I’ve pounded a boat load in my day.

Bottled, BB Oct 09. Poured hazy peach with a nice creamy initial cap of white head.. settled down to a fine film. The aroma picked up sweet candied oranges and fresh wheat over supporting bready character.. accents of coriander and mild white pepper. The flavor had caramel and sweet bread at the core with not-too-tart orange zest and spicy wheat around.. finished sweet and clean. Lighter-bodied with heavy, rolling carbonation on the palate.. well-balanced.. a bit sweet for my liking, but very drinkable.

Orange in color with minimal head and lacing. A distinct smell of citrus fruit especially orange. A drinkable beer with a meal but not a beer you go out of your way to sample. A decent mass produced attempt at a White Ale.

FRom the 22 fl. oz. bottle marked OCT0509-E50861. I was a bit surpirsed that I had not rated it yet. It pours a cloudy orange-yellow with almost no head. The aroma is a little yeasty and wheaty. I noticed the coriander and orange peel in the taste. It isn’t a bad one from Miller but it is a much weaker witbier than getting an authentic one from a Belgian Abbey.

This beer is nice combination of spice and fruit. You really can taste the orange especially with one in the beer, but there is still a nice spice component. Its very a nice looking orange brown color with a great white head.
