Well I had to get last night work is not so good of late and after my MBA class I was fed up and need a few brews. There is this little corner bar near the campus not too much going on there (in regaurds to good beers) but I went anyway. So the best I could be was Blue Moon. So they poured me one, it had a creamy orangish brown color with a foam that had a hint of orange in it. So I then tasted this brew which I was surprised at the fruitness flavor it had, hints of bananas and peaches. But other than that it was average. But it is alright on the pocket if you plan on having a few beers

Starts off nice, with a hazy golden color and decent head. Aroma is typical of belgian wit - sweet and spicy. Flavor was too much spice for me. Seems like they tried to duplicate Hoegaarden (which I like), but went way overboard on the spices.

decent beer..i’m always a bit put off when you order a beer in a bar and they put in a garnish or something to help the taste. but a good beer either way.

UPDATED: MAY 20, 2003 Crisp, spicy, and full of flavor. Not bad for a Coors beer. It's a little light and wattery though. I'd definately drink it again. Not even close to a real Belgian White.

I found this beer to be quite pleasing. It had delicious flavor, but I was pretty drunk when I tried it. I will probably have to rerate it in the near future.

This is the first Belgian-style beer I’ve tried. Yeah its from Coors, but now I’m intrigued enough to try the real deals. Quite dry, but has a good spicy/citrus taste to it.
The cloudy golden/orange color is very appealing. Funny how Coors can make something like Coors light then make something like this which actually has taste.

It kind of gets slammed because it’s a macro imitation of a Belgian style, but I don’t think it’s a bad beer. It’s spicy and still simple enough to be accessible. Hint of coriander maybe?

I’ve never tasted anything quite like this. It’s kind of an ugly wheat beer, not that unfiltered wheats are particularly good looking. I guess the spices were supposed to make it taste Belgian, but to me it tasted primarily like good ol’ Chap Stick original + coriander and cinammon. This is entertaining for the first five sips, but afterwards, it quickly grows old. No other redeeming qualities.

It totally tasted like medicine, at least the draft I had. Where were the hops?

Very wheaty. Sometimes that bothers me. Other than that, average brew.
