Appearance: Cloudy, dull, golden-orange body with a small, fizzy, white head. Smell: Notes of orangey citrus and perky spices infuse the wheaty nose of Blue Moon. Taste: Tangy, lightly creamy malted wheat. A taste of citrus zest and a fair dose of spice interrupts the brief sweetness. Light, spicy hops and bitterness provides a bit of balance. Finishes tangy with a light, lingering hint of spice and orange. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium, fizzy carbonation. Drinkability: It certainly has some stuff going for it. It’s very easily available, rather drinkable, relatively inexpensive, and isn’t altogether dreadful.

On draft, straw colored and hazy with lots of carbonation. Flavor is watery malt and vaguely orange with some mineral. No funk or nuance.

12 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy dark orange body with a one inch foamy white head that retained as a thin film. Lots of wheat and yeast in the nose with some fruity esters and the usual Wit spices of orange peel and coriander. A bit murky smelling though. The flavor has a good deal of yeastiness and prominent orange peel citrusy notes, lesser impact from the coriander. Still can’t help but think that it’s a little murky tasting as well though. Mouthfeel is pretty full and creamy with nice soft carbonation. Not the cleanest of Witbiers, but is is among the best from this brewery.

Great summer beer. Light and refreshing. This is another one that I don’t think tastes as good out of the bottle.

Bottle - poured into shaker glass. Maybe it was how I poured it, but it had nearly a 1 1/2 inch white head. Yellow, orange cloudy appearance. Smooth, fruity and easy going down, almost a "light" beer feeling. Not heavy at all, it was alright.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow/orange with a white head. Belgium wit clone. Rather bland to be honest.
