An impressive attempt by Coors with a Belgian wheat beer. A little light and ’synthetic’ tasting.

This beer was a pleasant surprise to someone who prefers dark beers. It is very smooth and almost creamy tasting. Has good flavor though just a tad to "spicy.

Fairly good interpretation of the style, especially on tap. Best with a slice of orange. My wife’s favorite beer.

I wonder why someone would put coors in such fancy bottles?

Nothing really great here, but not a bad brew. Small head, medium flavor, and I don’t see how this Belgian.

Nothing special about this one. It is average in almost everything. The head goes quickly, and the taste is not great, but it is far from bad too. If it’s there take it.

Almost no head and no lace. Typical cloudiness and color for a wheat. The spicing is a bit different, the typical flavors with a something more, I believe coriander is what someone mentioned. Over priced.

First Rate 12/22/00 A contract brewer for coors, A drinkable beer, not a great favorite.

Re-Rate 09/30/02: A light ’Chill Hazed’ golden color, the head is white and dissipates quickly, the lace is also quite thin. Nose is malt, the front also malt, top light, the finish is moderately carbonated, dry, a pretty ’Pathetic’ ’Wit’, by any standards. Ranks #994 on my current 1000 beer masterlist.

Golden coudyness that almost glows and an average head. Lots of citrus and orange in the nose. Orange and coriander flavor with smatterings of hops. Outstanding session beer, and a good introduction for the novice. Now if only coors could do this all the time.
