Blue Moon pours yellow orange and hazy. A thick and creamy smooth head forms which leaves behind some lacing that slowly slides down the sides of the glass. The texture is smooth and a little oily. Its aroma is light with orange and wheat notes. The favor is a nice mix of sweet orange peel, coriander and wheat malts. The finish is wheaty and a little dry. Blue Moon is very refreshing and drinkable.

22 FL OZ ($3.99) Its your standard Blue Moon. I do like the belgian white more than the orange beer they make but still way too fruity tasting for me. This is beginner beer. pretty much a bud light with fruit in it with a different label.

It is supposed to resemble the witbeer of Belgium, but poor for aroma, taste and palate.

Bottle. Uncommonly spicy aroma, sweet, cinnamon, strong clove. Hazy yellow colour. Short lasting head. Taste has the same weird spice mix, strong clove, cinnamon. Lemony. Other unidentified thing. Weird, drinkable when well chilled. However somehow overspiced with somewhat.

Pours a slightly hazy orangey color, topped with small white head. The aroma is pleasantly mild - fruity aroma is complemented by some spices. The taste is sweet and fruity, also some spices are present. Finish is slightly bitter. Creamy and smooth, easily drinkable and has the necessary refreshing feel. I’m not a fan of witbiers, but this one is amazing.

Thanks to José Pérez. Cloudy pale orangish colour with minimal and quickly diminishing white head. Aroma has notes of yeast, coriander and some spices. Flavor is quite similar as aromawith citrus notes. Slightly bittery final with fruity notes.

From BA review on 2-25-12 - Poured from bottle into pilsner glass. Appearance –Pours a very hazy orange color with a big white head. The head fades relatively fast, but leaves a very persistent foam on the brew. Smell – A citrus aroma is most pertinent and lasts from start of smell to finish. There is a yeast cake and a little bit of lemon mixing in as well. Quite nice. Taste – Sweet malt mixed with some very nice orange citrus flavors; these flavors are present throughout. Toward the middle of the taste some of the yeastiness and a bit of breadiness are present. The yeast and the bread begin to fade more toward the end giving way to a sweeter taste (citrus in nature but also a bit of cane sugar sweet as well). Mouthfeel – Medium to slightly above body in nature. It coats the mouth quite nicely. This coupled with some more evanescent bubbles tingles on the tongue and mix very well with some of the sweet citrus flavors that come to the end of the taste. Overall – This is really quite a nice refreshing and drinkable beer. It is quite nice in all the categories. A very good session beer.
