2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
I enjoy this beer pretty much as a go to beer thats decent in almost any situation. Normally I take it with an orange slice but for this particular rating I am going without it. Bottom line, decent but nothing special. Aromas of creamy malt, light touch of wheat and some lemon in there.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Hazy honey colour with an instantly dissipating head and virtually no carbonation. Suggestions of orange juice, coriander, bread dough and pepper aromas. Similar flavours, with a wheat sourness that is unusually unpleasant. The lack of carbonation means there is a complete failure to deliver the customary whack of refreshing flavour so desirable in a witbier. Very ordinary.

Bottle at MIA Irish Pub
Hazy orange color, small steady white head. Aroma has orange peels and fruity wheatyness. Light-bodied. Fruity, hints of coriander, quite sweet witbier. Goes with food.

I really enjoy witbeers. Still one of my favorite beers though it’s highly criticized on various beer websites. I guess the taste is not subtle enough but it suits me fine! Light, refreshing, fruity, so easy to drink.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Ljusgul grumlig vätska med låg vit krona. Tunn kropp med blaskig smak. En tråkig och sorglig öl som bryggs för den breda publiken i USA. Rekommenderas ej

355mL bottle, Melbourne Casino, Aus
This seem is popping up everywhere now.
Presented in a small weizen-looking glass, with a slice of orange!? Never a good sign.
Hazy orange-juice looking thing with a small head - despite the orange slice.
Smells enough like a wit-bier, some wheaty cereals, spice and orange (no surprise there though).
Odd texture - somewhat clumpy, for use of a better word - carbonation somewhat high.
Really takes a turn for the worst on the body; orange juice, skunky lager, phenolic spice. Low bitterness.
Nothing like how a good Belgian wit should taste.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2014 Cerveja de trigo estilo Witbier. Forte aroma de laranja e especiarias. Por ser doce acaba se tornando enjoativa.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
For being a Coors product it is decent and drinkable. Pours a cloudy orange, too dark for the style, with a quickly fading small head. Smells of orange peel, spice, and fruity yeast. The coriander and orange peel flavors are a bit too aggressive and don’t taste authentic, like it’s an added extract or something. Light bodied with a watery feel, it is refreshing but it’s not anything like a real Belgian ale. It will do in a pinch but nothing I would seek out.

On tap during London vacation. Cloudy orange amber with massive white head. Aroma of dough, grain, bread, coriander and citrus. Taste is citrusy, coriander, dough, sweet malt with low bitterness. Meh.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours cloudy golden, almost opaque. Very thin white head that disappears into nothing in seconds. Spicy citrus hop aroma, sweet malt, grassy hops and herbs. Malty flavour, followed by mild bitterness and spiciness. Pretty sweet. It’s okay but I wouldn’t really like to have more than one.
