On draft at Beef O’ Brady’s. Color is cloudy orange. There was barely any white head left by the time the waitress arrived with my beer, but I didn’t expect much even if I’d poured it myself. Damn, she put an orange slice in it. Why does everyone do that now? Oh well...loose lacing from the frosted glass. Nose is orange from the orange slice (surprise!). Not much else. Wheat, more freakin’ orange, some cream qualities. Medium body/ carbonation. Light and airey mouthfeel. Very one-dimensional, but good for a macro-brew. I’d choose this out of most crap at the bar.

orange amber colour, very hazy thick-looking liquid, pours no head. the aromascape is wheatish with a very pleasant herby nature to it. this is accompanied by a citrusy, but pleasantly sweet fruity aroma seeping from the glass. smells extremely sweet and inviting. the taste is light but well balanced; very enjoyable. there is an initial sourness to this, but the sweetness quickly grabs it and brings up some of that extremely subtle bitterness. and i mean very, very subtle. the palate is dry and light with a slick texture. suits the herb side well and overall nature of the beer. nothing world changing but an enjoyable light herb wheat style beer, maybe good for a summer day on the porch.

Draught at bar. Thick orange color, white head. Bitter sweet taste with orange, grass, spices and clove. Pretty ok, but far from the best american wheats.

Nod bad for a mass produced American Witbier. Has nice bits of wheat, coriander, faint orange...finishes very smooth, almost creamy. Drank it at room temperature, sans orange from a tumbler.

One beer I had at a mother’s day cookout last weekend. Bottle poured, a cloudy golden color. Aroma of orange, coriander, grass and light malt. Taste is sweet and creamy, not a bad macrobrew witbier.

From notes. Bottle. Slightly hazy dark yellow with white head. Aroma is wheat, orange peel and some coriander. Flavour is the same with a touch of bitterness.

Opaque light good , small white head that doesn’t last. Bready citrusy aroma with a hint of earthy coriander. Flavor is light but nicely rounded. Pretty ok flavor of wheat dough, orange citrus, drying grainy coriander and some light pale malty sweetness. Perhaps a bit overrated publicly, but in a blind taste test I wouldn’t knock this too bad.

My girl wanted a Blue Moon with lunch and I want to get to 100 beers by 12/31/12. So here’s #25 for 2012 A few month old 12oz bottle brewed In Golden, Colorado, drank from a shaker. Aroma sweet wet wheat, some coriander spice, alcohol, slightly musky. Murky cider color 1/2 inch white head no lacing. Taste is light, earthy, mild citrus and spice notes in the finish. Medium palate, finishes very smooth and creamy. Not bad at all. Like most Belgium style beers I liked it better at room temperature. Will re-rate.

on tap at olive garden, kissimmee FL. FL VC #16. a dumbed down wit for the masses. decent quaff, but lacking a lot of what makes the style enjoyable. id drink it over any other BMC product.
