"Belgian White Ale" (North America) / "North American Craft Beer" (UK)
Brewed with oats for creaminess and spiced with the perfect combination of orange peel and coriander.
An unfiltered wheat ale spiced in the Belgian tradition for an uncommonly smooth taste.
Gold medalist (white beer) at 1995 World Beer Championships, silver medalist (white beer) at 1996 and 1997 World Beer Championships. 171 calories per 12-ounce serving and 5.4% abv.
Editor’s Note: Much of this beer’s production now comes from the Molson brewery in Toronto. A small portion of Denver draught production comes from the SandLot brewery. Still other product may continue to hail from Golden. 7/19/08.

This is an *excellent* Witbier! I was quite surprized at just how good it was. As is typical of the beer snobs, since this is brewed by some obscure American brewery in Tennessee, it gets a paultry rating...but such is the way things are in the extreme snobbery of the beer world (thank God we’re not in the WINE world where the snobber is even more frickin’ disgusting!) Anyway, bottom line, this is a very fine Belgian White.

Oh yucky, yucky, yucky Yankee piss drop. Caramel, banana, apple, sweet yucky, sticky bland, and basic ale. What a joke. This is no Belgian style ale, it is actually a complete and utter farce. I absolutlely detest this beer for its sheer mockery of a witbier, bordering on criminal. Utter Bollocks. Keep buying this piss at Wallmart to those whom are obviously uneducated in beer tasting. Oh,gag. Really Blue Moon, you should be held accountable for this misconception of a Belgian-style wheat beer, it is nothing but. Who are you trying to fool here, obviously those with no taste buds. My rating is so low, because this beer does not represent fully what it claims to represent. It is not a true witbier in my opinion. (and I have consumed many in my time). There are many New Zealand witbier brews that would blow this insipid drop out of the water. And biers like - Pierre Celis. Jopen Adriaan. EINSTÖK ICELANDIC WHITE ALE. LEFEBVRE BLANCHE DE BRUXELLES

På flaska från Wallmart. Mörk gul färg. Svag doft av citrus. Smakar som en Wiesbeer. Lite citron och skumbanan.

Cloudy yellow color, small white head. Light aroma of orange peel and wheat. Dry sweet taste has orange, lemon, wheat, spices, hops. Thin body and good carbonation. Decent wit.

Buona birra, gusto leggero ma intenso. Dissetante come una blanche che si rispetti, senza perderci in aroma.

Smells very much like orange. Kind of foamy in the mouth. Tastes like wheat with a clear orange zesty aftertaste (although the final aftertaste is mostly wheat with a slight hint of orange).

Tall can. Pours a cloudy gold with a nice white head. Aroma of citrus, spice, and grain. Taste is orange, lemon, coriander, and wheat. Nothing wrong with this mild wit.

35.5cl bottle on 14/06/2015 poured into a tall glass. Hazy light amber colour with a thick creamy white head which quickly dissipates. Sweet fruity and wheat aroma. Medium carbonation. Light body and flavour. Sweet; flavours of wheat, grain, citrus fruits (orange peel, lemon) and slightly spicy. Light, fruity and drinkable.

Cor amarelo turvo. Aroma frutado. Carbonatação baixa. Corpo leve e refrescante, sem amargor, com um toque cítrico. Leve aftertaste.

On tap at Joe’s Bar and Grill in downtown Seattle. A nice yellow orange color, cloudy, moderate white head, not much nose at all. Taste wise a very so so wit. Not much else to say. 2.3.

Slightly hazy yellow body with a medium white head. Aroma is coriander, orange, wheat. Taste is medium sweet with light bitterness. Although quite drinkable I wouldn’t say this is a Belgian white ale.
