This is an *excellent* Witbier! I was quite surprized at just how good it was. As is typical of the beer snobs, since this is brewed by some obscure American brewery in Tennessee, it gets a paultry rating...but such is the way things are in the extreme snobbery of the beer world (thank God we’re not in the WINE world where the snobber is even more frickin’ disgusting!)
Anyway, bottom line, this is a very fine Belgian White.

Ljusgul grumlig vätska med låg vit krona. Tunn kropp med blaskig smak. En tråkig och sorglig öl som bryggs för den breda publiken i USA. Rekommenderas ej

This seem is popping up everywhere now.
Presented in a small weizen-looking glass, with a slice of orange!? Never a good sign.
Hazy orange-juice looking thing with a small head - despite the orange slice.
Smells enough like a wit-bier, some wheaty cereals, spice and orange (no surprise there though).
Odd texture - somewhat clumpy, for use of a better word - carbonation somewhat high.
Really takes a turn for the worst on the body; orange juice, skunky lager, phenolic spice. Low bitterness.
Nothing like how a good Belgian wit should taste.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2014 Cerveja de trigo estilo Witbier. Forte aroma de laranja e especiarias. Por ser doce acaba se tornando enjoativa.

For being a Coors product it is decent and drinkable. Pours a cloudy orange, too dark for the style, with a quickly fading small head. Smells of orange peel, spice, and fruity yeast. The coriander and orange peel flavors are a bit too aggressive and don’t taste authentic, like it’s an added extract or something. Light bodied with a watery feel, it is refreshing but it’s not anything like a real Belgian ale. It will do in a pinch but nothing I would seek out.

On tap during London vacation. Cloudy orange amber with massive white head. Aroma of dough, grain, bread, coriander and citrus. Taste is citrusy, coriander, dough, sweet malt with low bitterness. Meh.

Pours cloudy golden, almost opaque. Very thin white head that disappears into nothing in seconds. Spicy citrus hop aroma, sweet malt, grassy hops and herbs. Malty flavour, followed by mild bitterness and spiciness. Pretty sweet. It’s okay but I wouldn’t really like to have more than one.

Not sure what to say about this. Well it’s bottled from Beers of Europe. Colour is cloudy orange., with little to no head. I tried this after Hoegaarden another commercial brewed Belgian White beer, and the flavour of spice orange etc. seems absent when compared. A touch disappointed but it’s ok.

Not a good Belgian white. Tastes a little odd and artificial to me. Not a bad option if nothing else is around, but don’t waste your beer money.

Go to a very nice craft beer store and ask if they have blue moon. Watch the snobs squirm.
