Great beer. You get the nice ale flavor with just a touch of tartness from the blackberry without being overpowering. It's enough to make the taste just right. -- rated via 'Find A Beer' for Blackberry 10

12 ounce bottle from a variety pack. Pours a tea color with a thine off white head that fades quick. Taste is of black berries, brown sugar, wheat, chocolate and some yeast. Similar aroma. Has a decent, lighter body with a dry finish. Easy to drink and enjoyable, but a bit artificial tasting.

12 oz bottle: Aroma is bready malt note upfront, grassy chinook hops notes, yeast, and blackberries. Appearance is a purple hue with golden poking through a slight purple but most white head on top. Taste is kind of all over the place with the blackberries, a myriad of chocolate malts intermingled with bready malts then some grassy hop backing. This is all over the place. Overall, Bleh- Cheers!

Bottled. Some blackberries - duh, otherwise pretty damned unimpressive. Not necessary.

It poured a cloudy copper color with a small white head. The aroma was of spice and some blackberries. The taste was of blackberry and a little tart with a light dry finish. Decent.

19 June 2013, bottle. Olden amber, clear, steady bubbles. Nose is cereal malt with only the faintest of blueberries or tartness. Thin body and fizzy. Lots of caramel malt, again only fair blueberries. Really can't find any tart notes. Meh. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a reddish purple hue with a white head. Smells of rotting berries. Taste is like a watered down berry sparkling juice, like V8 put out in those mini cans. More of a Smirnoff malt beverage than a beer.

bottle. Amber with a slight purple tinge and small head. Pretty boring wheat ale with the smallest hint of fruitiness. Very subtle, but in this case, I would have preferred something a little more obvious/distinctive.

Bottle. Blackberry and malt aroma. Purple-brown with moderate head. Lightly sweet blackberry and wheat malt flavor. Medium body. Not too bad.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle stamped: OCT0713-F05102026. It has a deep amber colored pour with a fairly long lasting beige head. The aroma smells very bready and biscuity more than blackberry. But sadly it also reminds me of what my French Fries smell like when I remove them from the deep fryer. The body is light to medium with a bit of astringency. I recognize more blackberries in the taste than in the aroma. So that rescues it a little and makes it more to the described style. Not something I would have often.
