Blue Moon Belgian White Ale

The orange aroma is pleasant. But its flavor is just okay. If this beer is not extremely cold it goes down hill fast!

Bottle. Pours a cloudy golden color with a medium sized white head. Aroma of citrus, wheat, and a hint of spice. Flavor is of sweet wheat, and citrus. Not bad... I seem to remember it being better, but I don’t really know if anything has changed.

Pours a blended orange-yellow with standard white head. Aroma of orange and a bit of male. Hints of blueberry muffins, lemon, and orange. Just because it’s made by MillerCoors doesn’t mean it’s bad, Rather good brew.

I remember drinking this for the first time about 2001 with a big slice of orange when it was delicious and not corporate and overly popular. It pours a perfectly cloudy golden yellow color with a nice white head on top. It is an easy drinking simple wheat. It truly tastes much better with a slice of orange to bring out some of the flavors that the brewer intended to taste but don’t shine through as well.

I can’t believe I used to like this! Ugh...this stuff is awful! Pours somewhat cloudy with great chunks floating. Very little head formation and no retention. Tastes of light fruit and there’s some awful taste in this as well. I could barely choke this down. Luckily, there’s no finish to speak of.

orange aroma and very good taste

Never quite understood the niche this beer has garnered. Any beer that needs to be hussied up with fruit isn’t worth drinking. And trust me, it needs every bit of that orange juice to choke it down. Virtually flavorless on it’s own. Maybe the best Coors has to offer, but what is that really saying?

bottle. Poured hazy orange-yellow with fading white head. Strong fruity orange aroma. Light creamy mouthfeel. Light citrus, yeasty flavour. Slight dry finished.
