gorditoabd (162), San Diego, California, USA Apr 21, 2009 Pours watered-down Orangina orange with a strong aroma of orange rinds to match. Very fizzy look with about 1 finger of medium consistency head. Flavor is a mellow, watery orange and wheat. Not much going on here. Good thing it’s hot tonight in San Diego, because that’s about all the appeal this beer has. It’s not bad, just nothing special. CaryTheDude (1113), Longmont, Colorado, USA Apr 20, 2009 Crushed with Jakebra. Somewhat decent nose mainly of oranges and spice. Flavor is kind of rough and not great. Much poop and little awesomeness. Not sure why people find it so appealing. Rustyham (545), miami, Florida, USA Apr 20, 2009 Hoegaarden’s ass juice- coriander, orange, and ash. Pours a hazy orange gold with a short lived head. Smells sweet and fruity with a hint of spice and sewage...yeah, i think it’s sewage. Taste is light with a bit of hops, orange peel, and sewage. Ohhhhhh, it’s a coors product, yeah thats why. After a few sips, I just can’t get myself to finish it. So instead of sewer-water, coors made us some unfiltered, spiced sewer water. A fine macro-craft will rejoin the sewer tonight. RVABeerstro (13), USA Apr 11, 2009 Pours hazy orange-gold. Has light citrus/lemon aroma and a hint of actual Belgian yeast. Flavor is sweet citrus, yeasty banana with creamy mouthfeel. Starts spicy but finishes sweet. Better than I remembered, still not equal to a true Belgian.
