angrypirate06 (678), Texas, USA Mar 20, 2009 Tap. Pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Nose is citrusy, cinnamon, clove. Strong wheat taste with light amounts of spice. Overall, a decent beer, not the best belgian white, but refreshing nonetheless. MattShizzle (385), Bernville, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 20, 2009 Bottle - from sampler pack. Light golden, very cloudy. Slight spicy aroma. So-so. Way underpronounced Belgian White flavor. Might be a good version for those used to drinking US mass market lagers, but if you’ve ever had a craftbrewed version, or one actually from Belgium this doesn’t come close. ben4321 (958), Rockville, Maryland, USA Mar 16, 2009 Location:
You can get this one anywhere, and I have had it many times.
Overall Impression:
I like this beer a lot when I’m really thirsty, not so much for slow drinking, but it definately serves its purpose. You can get this one anywhere, and it’s better then many of the beer that fit that category.
Andbrewer (18), St. Joseph, Missouri, USA Mar 12, 2009 Pours from bottle gold an pretty clear. Not horrible, but not the best by any means. Good for a drinking to get drunk beer if you’re not a bud or miller fan..... which who is. Anyway, somewhat citrusy, hint of wheat. Ok. I may keep it in my fridge for the friends I have over that I don’t want to drink my good stuff. thornecb (1737), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA Mar 6, 2009 Pours deep hazy gold into a tumbler. White head quickly recedes to hug rim leaving no lacing. Mild coriander and wheat aromas. Soft and medicinal. Lasting sour finish. hamsterglory (48), Bryan, Texas, USA Mar 5, 2009 not great. i’m so sorry that this beer is like EVERYWHERE. worse than that, i’m sorry that everyone thinks this is fabulouser than miller lite or pabst, as if blue moon were the next logical progression up from domestic lagers. seriously, it’s not good. tdcritch (112), Missouri, USA Mar 4, 2009 Wouldn’t drink it without an orange. With the orange it is very refreshing and light bodied. Pours a light yellow. Cavie (1318), Fort Worth, Texas, USA Mar 4, 2009 With or without orange, no thanks. This was one of my earliest beers and I didn’t have a taste for it at the time.
