I’m not going into details for an average beer. Let’s say this, if your trying to go half way cheap but still have an enjoyable drinking experience (that means 5-6 beers not a shit show), blue moon is a good way to go. It’s for sure a step up from the traditional trash beers like bud light, miller, etc... The ladies seem to love this one as well.

The pleasant aromas consist of citrus and a little wheat. This is slightly cloudy and golden in color. I can barely taste any spice in this beer. At least for a White. It tastes mildly sweet with a good citrus flavor. It’s light in body and seems a tiny bit watery to me, but not bad at all. This is a Belgian White for the non-adventurous IMO. I don’t mind drinking this at all, but it’s just a little generic for my taste.

Bottled, 355ml from Sainsburys, Banbury. Clouded gold with white head, floaters. Reasonable aroma, vaguely citric with a pomaigne type touch, the flavour is also a thin citricity, some zest, sweet and spicy. There appears to be a need to get citrus notes into this at the expense of solid brewing as there is little background, the appearance of a forced beer. It’s ok, but I’m not rushing to try the other one in my garage for a while.

Pours light orange. Too sweet for my liking. Wheaty texture. Many have raved but I’ll stick to something a little more malty.

Slight citrus and spice(coriander). A very good replica of the traditional belgian whites. Excellent beer.

Pours a light orange with a white head. Aroma/flavour of oranges and light spices. Sort of a sweet finish. Fairly good stuff.
